Lorsque l’intervention est carcinologiquement satisfaisante, pour les stades I, II et IIIA, la radiothérapie
provoque une réduction du taux de survie à 2 ans de 55 à 48%. En fait, la totalité de
la baisse porte sur les stades I et II ; rien
n’est observé sur les IIIA.
 Indications
envahissements ganglionnaires médiastinaux avérés (N2) et résections avec tranche de section positive ; les techniques actuelles permettent de délivrer des doses élevées sans toxicité majeure
Justifications
gain en contrôle local susceptible de contribuer à une augmentation de lasurvie.
